Many agencies have adopted community policing strategies. Make sure you research the department's philosophy and be prepared to inject it into any "what if" questions centered around a community based problem scenario. Most candidates do not have a clue as to what the oral board is all about. Those who do prepare often neglect to prepare for the this type of question.  Get a leg up on the competition.
